From horse breeding to trading company...

We have been active in horse keeping since 2002. Initially, we only had six horses in a run-in shed, where we hand-fed them twice a day. With the construction of a new barn in 2008 and the addition of 15 new horses, it quickly became clear that straw bedding was very high-maintenance and, for various reasons, no longer practical. We considered using rubber mats with a layer of straw, but often there was no straw left the next day, and the mats were heavily soiled. This turned out to be another bad investment.

To overcome these challenges, I had the idea of ​​covering the straw. After an intensive search, we found a robust covering that met our requirements. This was ordered and has been in use since 2009. The advantages were immediately apparent. After 18 months of continuous operation, we decided in the fall of 2010 to offer this covering commercially.
